1. Measure the extended length from the center of each end fitting.
2. Measure the stroke length, the length of the steel or the iron part.
3. Measure the Rod diameter, using a caliper to measure the metal rod.
4. Measure the Cylinder diameter through the same method as measuring the Rod diameter.
5. Checking the force listed on the original gas struts.

A8: Each ball joint is equipped with a metal clip. Using a flathead screwdriver to release the metal clip, you can easily remove the ball joint from the gas strut.
