How To Install 60N Small Gas Struts for Cabinets?
We offer simple instructions to follow, so it is easy for you to find that sweet spot for them to work best. Highly recommend these to anyone needing to replace an existing gas spring or installing them for the first time.
Just bought this camper and thought it pretty odd that the manufacturer didn’t put these on as a standard option. It’s hard to hold the door up while trying to put things in and take things out so I was very happy to find these. Took about 10 min to install and what a great purchase…. Very happy.
These were exact replacements for our worn out struts. Didn’t even have to remove the end studs in the cabinets.
I used this set of mini struts to replace the subpar ones that originally came with my RV. They worked flawlessly in supporting the overhead cabinet doors of my 2005 Jayco camper. Each door measures about 14″ x 30″, and it’s essential to use two struts per door to keep them securely open. Once both struts are securely clipped into the ball joints, they provide more than enough holding power.
Make sure you have a small regular screwdriver. There’s a slot in the back of the strut that you can gently pry open with the screwdriver, making it much easier to snap onto the ball joint.
